24/0850 Dec 10: N F2 25KM 1CU015 -3.0/xxx Q1020 Tg -9.5
Rmks: Min -3.3, grass min (over snow) -10.3, snow depth 19 cm (now crusted on top). The depth of lying snow has reduced by 11 cm during the last 5 days, primarily due to heat flux from the ground. On this occasion, the ground was not substantially frozen before the first snow a week ago, which has aided the process, with 30 cm soil temperature still at 3.5 C (decrease of 0.5 C in last week).
