At 0735z today the temperature here rose to 0.0, bringing an end to a spell of
continuous frost that lasted a few minutes short of 258 hours. So far this month there have been 16 ice days (09-09z). There were 4 in November and in the whole of 2010 to date there have been 31 ice days. In 2009 there were only 10 ice days. -- Norman Lynagh Tideswell, Derbyshire 303m a.s.l. |
