Noriced on some of the METAR reports this morning for Gatwick - (EGKK)
the code 88CLRD99 at the end of the ob anyone know what this might be?
As an example:

The code is known as a SNOWTAM and details the runway state.

is a useful decode.

In the Gatwick example it indicates the runway has been cleared, although
given they haven't had any snow recently it's a bit puzzling as to why it's
on there.
