Finally, enough agreement and consistency to forecast. I'm just not
going with the pre-Christmas ideas (of some) for a re-load of the intense cold. Not for mid-january, anyway. **At T240, on 14th January 2011, the UK will be under the influence of Atlantic weather. Temperatures will be generally average to above average and frosts will not be experienced in most areas, unless clear skies result from a transient ridge of high pressure. The days before the 14th will be characterised by wetter than average conditions, especially in the west, where winds will be stronger too. Any snow will be confined to the hills and any precipitation at sea level across the UK, on the 14th, will be of rain. . ** Pretty wet for many and few areas experiencing cold at 10 days. |
