We might not quite be into day darkness territory but I do wonder whether the sun has risen today. After a short spell of slight rain, the present session of moderate rain has lasted just shy of two hours, almost heavy at around 1100Z. .... Did something similar happen in down your way, Martin and break the sunless drought at Hurn? A few 'globs' of snow (for the want of a better description) occurred during the final moderate phase around 1415Z. Nigel (Romsey, Hampshire) |

Around 1445Z, as with you, the PPN continued (very light), but the Ac thinned/broke sufficiently for some weak sunshine through the upper cloud. A welcome sight! No sign of snow here though or anything like it. Martin. -- Martin Rowley Location: West Moors, East Dorset (UK): 17m (56ft) amsl Lat: 50.82N Long: 01.88W NGR: SU 082 023 W: booty.org.uk E: |
