UK Outlook for Wednesday 23 Feb 2011 to Friday 4 Mar 2011: Generally unsettled and rather cloudy for for the end of the week, with outbreaks of rain in many areas, particularly heavy in the west. Also windy with a risk of gales, mainly in the north. Friday may see some drier weather in the east. Temperatures near or above normal. The weather at the weekend is likely to stay unsettled in the west, interspersed occasionally with drier brighter spells. Southern and eastern areas will tend to have longer drier spells, but still see some rain at times. Some risk of frost at night, but generally temperatures remain at or above average. The following week is likely to see a split, with unsettled wet and windy conditions in the northwest, but drier further south. Generally average temperatures, but possibly cooler in south |
