Default Dull and drizzly in Sunderland...

Dull and a bit drizzly just about sums up the weather in Sunderland this
Saturday morning.
After a dry week with some earlier prolonged spells of sunshine, I had
planned to get into the garden this weekend (it looking to be the first dry
weekend for the last few weeks). However, it's been drizzly overnight and
everything is wet once again... so the first grass cut of the year is going
to have to wait for another day.

Regards... David Allan (Sunderland, Tyne & Wear).

I've had dry weather and TBH I can't be arsed to cut the grass so early in
the season. I usually wait until a week or so after the first daffs come out
which is normally mid-March, so first cut for me is normally end of this
month/early April when it is about 4-6 inches long, so a long cut then. I
dread getting the mower out usually, but once I get into the swing of
cutting every two weeks it's not so bad, it looks good when its done too, at
least the moss does :-)
