where is hurricane grace and henri
As I understand it hurricane are named alphabetically using a list of pre
defined names for the North Atlantic this consists of six list as detailed on website: http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/aboutnames.shtml. However I must be missing something, Hurricane Fabian I recall but according to the list the next should have been called Grace then Henri but now we have Isabel. Did I miss two hurricanes? DRS |

Did I miss two hurricanes? Henri affected Florida and Georgia as a tropical depression - weaker than a hurricane - a week or so ago. Miami had 64 mm rain in the 24 hours ending 12.00 UTC on Saturday 6th September and Savannah (Georgia) 69 mm in the same period. Colin Youngs Brussels |
