Default Weatherlink v5.4

Installed Davis's latest software, v.5.4, without any problems for my WMII.
Some nice new features that I will spend a bit of time to look into. I now
have a 'forecast' taken from the monitors data. It's currently reading:
'Increasing clouds with little temperature change. Precipitation possible
within 24 to 48 hours'. It takes about 3 hours of running the bulleting to
gather the trends that come up with forecast. Will keep an eye on that one
:-)

Default Weatherlink v5.4 ?

Apparently, it does accept capitals!

I've set my WMII to update on my website every 15mins.
Go to:
http://www.southendweather.net/
2. Southend Data
And chose either Current Weather WMII Data and /or Weather Summary WMII
Data.

A refresh maybe necessary to update the data each time.

Let me know if there are any problems.

Regards

I have set up the internet options on my website but am finding a problem
which I wonder if anyone has an answer to?

The templates that come with v5.4 have names with all the words starting
with capitals. Am I right in saying that browsers only work will ALL lower
caser letters? subsequently, although it auto updates, I never get to see
the latest unless I frig around with removing the capitals from each file?

Any suggestions, or am I missing something here.

Many thanks

Default Weatherlink v5.4 ? / davis question

Nice addition!

has the temp not risen since its peak at 8:30?

shame , coz it looks like you were in for a scorcher!

Another Davis-related question - can i use my weatherlink bought for a
wizard 3 if I buy a vantage pro - or do i need to buy a new weatherlink
version? (I mean the hardware not software)

joe.

Default Weatherlink v5.4 ?

It also does an auto refresh ever few minutes when left on.

Must admit a very good product from Davis, with some excellent 'Help' pages.

Default Weatherlink v5.4 ? / davis question

Joe, well spotted. Where I have my monitor located, it actually gets direct
sun between about 08:00 and 09:30, I tend to ignore any highs at these
times, unless cloudy. The one compromise I have had to make. However, we
have quite a keen NE wind here in Southend-on-Sea, so I doubt we are going
to break any records here today. Extremly strong sun though.

Default Weatherlink v5.4 ? / davis question

In the book that John Dann kindly supplied it states:

Weatherlink for Vantage Pro (#6510C)
*Data Logger for Vantage Pro, (whether this is different to the one supplied
with any of the other monitors I don't know).

Sorry I can't be of anymore help with this one Joe.

Regards

Does anyone know if there is a way of displaying the 'Monitor Bulletin'
screen on your web site? I think the Cheshire College use it.

Many thanks
