Default What Happened To the Rain For the SE Tonight

Absolutely bloody hopeless. I watched that giggling Driftwood on BBC
this morning just before leaving for work and there gurgling and
cooing is that Carol Driftwood with a forecast for rain for the SE
tonightand of course Carol gets s it straight from the UKMO horses
mouth. I Get to work check UKMO yes it's showing rian for tonight
over the SE albeit very patchy. If you look at UKMO now you will see
on the forecast page oj the weather tab a dry night is expected with
some showers by 1pm Saturday. Now on that same forecast page check the
rainfall tab and you will see rain forecast from iam Saturday!!

This really is crap and you wouldn't tolerate from your local fish and
chip shop.

"you've got cod on the menu outside mate"

"Tough cos we aint got on the menu inside"

All that tax payers money for this tripe and they can'tget some b
tech moron at the metO to at least get consistency on the weather
forecast page, oops what am I talking about they are more concerened
with our local clomate in fifty years time on the moronic AGW pages .
Oh I forgot to mention the wonderfull job they are doing in saving
lives with the NHS.

Mind you to be fair I've just looked at their AGW news page and
there's a fantastic article on certain species of Salmon being able to
survive ......... wait for it.........gasp,,,,,,,anthropogenic climate
change.
Theres even a mention of the deadliest tornadoes in the USA since the
thirties all down to AGW of course, Fantaist , incisive informative
articles on future global climate and the twits can't forecast rain
tonight or get their pulpit style AGW website forcasts to sing fromthe
same hymn sheet. I really don't know hou you lot put up with it.

Me? I'm off now to watch Brian Wilson on Jools Holland's Later.

Ciao

The BBC forecasts seem to be particularly crap. I wouldn't mind if they
were even consistent amongst themselves but they can't even manage that.
Yesterday the local forecast on BBC 1 London after the news predicted rain
for today, then cut to the national forecast and the bloke is talking about
a dry day in the south. Wtf??

And where are these showers they've been talking about for a week now? I
haven't seen a single one!

change.

Well , theres a bit of a difference between predicting a kettle will boil
if you switch it on and predicting what sort of shapes the steam from the
spout will form.

Seriously, this drought is getting serious in the SE, most lawns are
not looking good atm and I have had to pospone scarifications and over
seeding until the autumn, when I would put money on it being
persistently wet!

I'm going to get the hose out later Keith and soak the plants. I can't
actually see anymore recordable rain in the SE on the charts which takes
up pretty close to the end of the month. Seems Will maybe right!
