The main road of Norway, the E6 (like the M1 of UK) is totally
impassable at a number of locations - for the second day. That goes for a large numbers of other routes, icluding one of the other main routes further east - Rv 3 (Main national route 3). The main railway route through southern Norway (Dovrebanen) is also cut off in the same area, the Gubrandsdal valley. It will probably take several days before these routes can be opend again. For a large part of southern Norway (also actually in parts of northern Norway) it is a dire situation for the moment. Several hundred people have been evacuated from their homes.
