Ocnl dz until around 19z, then low cloud cleared leaving high cloud only, which was there throughout the evening and night. Rain commenced near 0600z, and was mod/heavy, max rate 18 mm/hr at 0641z, ceasing for 20 mins near 0800z and slight thereafter. 09-09 Screen max 18.6 min 11.8 grass min 10.8 Rain 8.4 Sun (00-24) 1.0 AWS max 18.7 min 11.8 -- Bernard Burton Wokingham Berkshire.
