Damn! Looks like the rain will stuggle to make it here now. Fizzling
out from the norh as it moves East.

It gave a massive 0.9mm in Haytor!

Jim,

By adding your text after the previous poster's sig., your text appears
as part of the sig. and is therefore not immediately obvious, especially
as in my newsreader and some others which display the sig. less
prominently than the rest of the post. Also, it means any reply to your
post automatically junks your text - as here.

It appears that the problem is with MS Mail. May I suggest that you
switch to a better newsreader such as the one in my sig. or Thunderbird?

Another multi-platform possibility is Claws Mail which also has mail,
news-reader, calendar and RSS aggregator. I haven't tried this one myself
- yet.

The rain sure is back for Scotland! Any idea what caused the re-intensification of the front? It was pretty diluted last night.

It managed to give us an hour of quite heavy rain, from 1pm

2mm in the end, largely from the showery activity that followed the main
