23/7/11 glorious sunshine on the coast path walking 18 miles from Cremyll
ferry in Plymouth (cornish border), across Plymouth to Wembury via Jennycliff and following the coast rigourously and then on to Newton Ferrers and then back to Wembury to collect car and drive home. Glorious sunshine all day with temperature around 20C so not too hot. Loads of people sailing in Plymouth Sound and plenty on the beach at Wembury taking the plunge. Now on the 24th back home in Haytor the morning has been cloudy and humid and sticky with outbreaks of light rain. Some fog at altitude. Quite sweaty with temperatures aroun 17C with dewpoint 14C. Drier now this afternoon but still cloudy and humid. Grass damp and garden moist. ----------------------------------------------------------- Will (Haytor, Devon, 1017 feet asl) ----------------------------------------------------------- |
