Managed to miss virtually all the rain recently. 0.8mm in the 48 hours
to 09:00 today. A bit of a charmed existence yesterday. A few spots in the morning, with some quite heavy rain passing just to the SE. Followed by a fairly sunny afternoon. Heavy showers, and some attractive cloud formations, running up near the north coast. Mainly altocumulus and various levels, with some high cloud above, also some Cb. I guess it would be classified as CM9. Lovely & blue to the south. Sharp cloud clearance around 09:00 today. The back edge of the cloud just visible on http://www.sennen-cove.com/index.htm . Now we have sunshine (just a few small cumulus), 19.2C (at 11:45), a F2-3 westerly, good visibility. Graham Penzance |

A short spell of quite heavy rain mid-morning then followed by a lovely warm and sunny afternoon/evening with a max 22.3°C and 4.9 mm of rain. Today started off a bit cloudy but now blue skies and sunshine. (12:45), 19.2°C, RH 71%, DP 13.1°C, 1014 hPa (R), Wind 7 mph WSW. ____________________________ Nick G Otter Valley, Devon 83 m amsl http://www.ottervalley.co.uk |

Looks like here will be sunny morning, cloudy afternoon, sunny evening. Dave, S.Essex. |
