http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/mapping/ I have just been playing with it; it makes the situation for any particular day so easy to understand. NEIC one, NEIC! Zero is today and you can adjust that to six with the other box adjusted to seven you get the score for a week back. A day by day map that delves into the archives would be worth more than gold. I'd forgive the US National debt for that and forgive Dubya,# #Only kidding, dickhead is still on the hit list for when I rule the world. The map is going to replace the one on the "present time" list. You can leave a comment on the test site. If they incorporate a way to show the distances of 60 and 80 degrees out from the epicentres it will make me a star. So that won't happen while I am alive. Not in a world ruled by people like Tory B Liar and the chimpanzee. |

Thank you for preventing our new earthquake mapping interface. All
feedback is generated. For Help see your physician. duhduhduh, WL, bring me into the picture here. Is this Beta map a replacement for the global globular map ? or has the Beta run with the globe map uh 'all along' and I haven't accessed that...? the flack does read NEW as if there is an old old old Beta. what the hell do yawl do with a flat earth map ? NOAA tried this....offering a technical obfuscation map throwing meteorology into the DARK AGES. \ YECH |

NOT AWARE THE FLAT MAP EXISTED and now here's an updated FLAT MAP with a horde of flat mappers drouling over its new flat features anf for the life of me I can;t figure what I'm missing out on here. what does a flat map do for you the global map doesn.t supply ? |

I'm using the global map to globally understand the global earthquake picture, that is comma GLOBALLY. This is a Global site. For Global people! There is nothing for YOU here. NOT AWARE THE FLAT MAP EXISTED and now here's an updated FLAT MAP with a horde of flat mappers drewling over its new flat features and for the life of me, I can't figure what I'm missing out on *here. what does a flat map do for you the global map doesn.t supply ? I believe that all maps by definition are flat. I may be wrong. A globe is by definition globular. I am certain about that. It is very difficult to represent one on the other and asking for the USGS to allow the use of bands to indicate distances 80 and 60 degrees from epicentres is not a small thing. The map at the present on the top of the NEIC lists is not the map I am talking about and -as is so often the case with you, I have no idea what you are talking about and asking usually gets a more screwed up reply. You could open this link I presume? http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/mapping/ http://www.google.com/url?sa=D&q=htt...islOO8GH4-IL5A I unlike you, once I have ascertained the enquirer is genuine, will endeavour to oblige with a more basic explanation that that to which I have become adept. If you care to run your peepers over the map given, you shoud see a Java script controller -or a controller of the code they are using. It behaves like Java so... Anyway, they are asking for per to change things to suit us which is a first, AFAIK. |

NOAA predicts rain for the Great North Wes leaving time and energy. maybe work up a survey and send it to flat map users ? Yawl use flat maps ? Incroyable. |

you did see NOAA's NEW MAP PRESENTATION ?
The map was sooooooooooooooooooo bad, NOAA's reasons for presenting it were suspect but living here in the Great North West for a time after Florida.....Florida's NOAA forecasts are dead on due to the hurricane staff for east coast predictions. out here forecasting is variable from excellent to uncertain moistly taking predicitons from time speed radar of the great arms of the bearing sea. |

ok that's an informative map maybe I'll get over the flat
migraine....why not click MAP TYPE and go global ? 0 where are animated wave functions ? does the flat approach replace my need for recording 'vanatu to honshu' simplifed example off course... ?? |
