Heavy rain during the last hour, with 5 mm in period 0850-0940, including
2.8 mm in 20 mins and a max rate of 21 mm/hr at 0934 Z. Water running off
the fields with local flooding of prone minor roads in the area.

27/1415 Z: 11.5 mm since 0810 Z, giving an event total of 21.3 mm. Only a
few spots of rain falling at present. That is now 53.6 mm over the last 5
days, giving a total for the month so far of 113.1 mm, which is just above
the monthly average and the fifth successive month of above average
rainfall. However, following the dry spring, we are still around 85 mm short
of the average for this point in the year.
