After a warm weekend, another warm(ish) sort of day with a bit of
drizzle (1.9 mm of the stuff), but this time there was no sunshine. The
third such sunless day this month.

A max of 14.9°C after a a low of 14.2°C, so a huge diurnal variation
there. The warmest night since the 11th (14.4°C).

In the sunshine on Sunday the temperature managed a maximum of 17.5°C,
the highest since the 14th (17.8°C). With a monthly mean temperature of
13.6°C, this October has been the warmest since I set up this station in
May 2005.

The new-born lambs in the surrounding fields seem to be loving these
warm, if rather damp conditions.

Last year, November started off in a similar fashion to recent with very
warm and wet conditions, I recorded 18.1°C on the 4th. Then we all know
what happened after that, gawd 'elp us.

A warm, breezy evening with a spot of rain in the air.
