Please look at those satellite temps I linked just before you posted. "One weather event proves nothing about climate change." "I know that John I was being tongue in cheek." No you weren't. Like every climate denier you think this unusual colder, local, temporary weather is important and an indicator that the climate is getting colder. It isn't. Forecast temperatures for NYC for the next 10 days are below - 12-15C every day. The average for NYC at this time of year is about 12C. You have plummeted into the weather is climate trap, larry. Climate deniers like you just can't help themselves, because they are actually silly enough to believe that local, temporary cold means something. I'm afraid that it doesn't. *)) ("get in there son") http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-New-York-USNY0996 |

Please substitute AGW denier if you must pigeon-hole. James -- James Brown |

The meaning is completely clear to the people who are climate deniers and I suspect, most others. |

Lawrence has never denied that there is a climate. He has not even denied *climate change* that I have noticed (though you don't mention that). As I understand it, he has issues with puny humans being the cause of pretty much anything aside of being a pain in the a*** to every other species. A Gaia theorist perhaps (and yes, I know the author changed his mind later). -- Gianna Peterhead, Scotland buchan-meteo.org.uk |
