8.2mm rain in the 24 hours to 09:00 today. Very little on the actual
frontal system (1mm). The bulk falling in a short space of time in a
torrential burst in the early hours. Final shower 08:30, basically dry
since with sunny intervals. Large Cb passing either side, especially
to the east this morning.

Wind is much lighter this afternoon, F3-4, but visibilty still
affected by the amount of salt spray in the air, there's still a lot
of white water out there.
