Much drier air seems to have moved into the SE overnight. I was quite
surprised to wake up this morning and find that the pavements outside were bone dry, probably for the first time in a week or more. It's still overcast, though. -- John Hall "The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it." George Bernard Shaw |

At least we have had some useful rain though. Dave, S.Essex. |

This weekend is turning out to be one of the gloomiest (weatherwise) for
some time around here. Gerard, Rochester, Kent "Dave Cornwell" wrote in message ... John Hall wrote: Much drier air seems to have moved into the SE overnight. Very gloomy morning but better afternoon. Today has been great, lovely drying NE wind and sun from about 12 onwards. Now if only this could keep going all winter, ideally with a bit of snow thrown in... Nick |
