Some quite heavy rain around 09:00 then a sharp clearance to clear
blue skies & warm (honest!) sunshine and quite light southerly winds. Still blue skies off Land's End, so should last a couple of hours more. Minimum of 12.1C in the 24 hours to 09:00, but that was yesterday morning, it was warmer overnight. Big swell this morning. The sun & swell can be seen @ http://www.minack.com/webcams.htm Isn't good when it's so much better than forecast, especially after yesterday's murk. Graham Penzance |

Graham Penzance Lucky or what! Sunny most of the day (10:00 - 15:00) with frontal cloud visible just to the east all day. Often with rain visibly falling from it to the SE of the Lizard point. In the last hour cloud from the next front has edged in from the west. Good visibility & deep blue sky. The frontal cloud to the west visible on http://www.sennen-cove.com/today2.htm. Max of 15.2C in generally F3 winds. Sea very lumpy & confused. Graham Penzance |

Graham Penzance A foul day some 100 miles East of you Graham - all day - wet and windy. Beginning to dry up, I think I see, in the fast fading daylight, but the weather radar promises more inclement weather for most areas in the SW overnight. |

The wind fell quite light as well. Beautiful skyscape, typical of summer 'warm sector' sunny conditions rather than November. See http://www.sennen-cove.com/lbtdy.htm It's often a feature in these rather dismal blocked conditions, that the clean 'Atlantic' air just forces it's way to the tip of Cornwall. Graham |

Graham To think it has the front to do that to you in a mere hundred miles. By gum, lad. Were't ever that easy. |
