Default Copley 13C and rising!

Hi, All,
November in Copley doesn't get a lot better,
Warmest day of the month 13.3C and rising, unbroken sunshine, 4 hours and
counting so far, and a gentle southerly.
Just need Bishops to beat Penrith this afternoon and the day's complete.
Snow? Forget it!!

.... not bad down this end of England either: temperature in our
sheltered back garden has been up to 17.5°C briefly, with strong
sunshine only interrupted now and then by some Cumulus development;
lots of flying 'things' about ... ladybirds, queen wasps, midges,
assorted flies etc., and I see that the shrubs I commented on the
other day has put forth even more young leaves! The non-native North
American oaks out the front are bare of leaves now, as are the
Whitebeam, but the native Oaks are still holding a large proportion of
'green' leaves, though looking a bit tired now.

Martin.

9.4?? It's been up to 15.2° here and is still 14° despite 8/8
St. Earlier there had been some sunshine but rather fitful. The Only
Way Is Surrey. :-)

Reached 15.9C in Penzance, and 15.6C on the cliff top near Gwennap
Head , so it must have been 16-17C along the north Cornish coast with
the wind offshore. Plenty of sunshine as well, http://www.sennen-cove.com/today2.htm
just a little mistiness over SE facing cliffs & hills at times.

Looks like being an exceptionally mild night tonight. This year may
well beat my warmest ever November (11.8C in 1994)

Still a very lumpy sea, but wind not as strong as forecast this
afternoon. Forecast mean speed for Penzance of 20mph for 18:00,
currently around 10mph.

A max here of 15.7°C in the unbroken afternoon sunshine, all 6.4 hours
of it today.

Not the warmest day of the month, that was the 3rd with 16.7°C.

A warm, starry evening.

(18:00), 13.7°C, RH 89%, DP 12.0°C, 1024 hPa (R), Wind 5 mph E.

Please tell me you don't watch that drivel Tudor! Thanks for the heads
up with the question marks on my 9.4C temp. That was yesterday! Turned
the PC off in the spare room to do some electrical work and forgot to
turn it back on. Old age is starting to annoy me ;-(
Actual max similar to yours at 13.9C although still cloudy.
Thanks,
Dave

Yes, when I went out around midday I was astonished at how warm it felt.

I had one of those queen wasps in my bathroom today. It made its
presence felt by a loud buzzing, when I was in the middle of having a
bath, which wasn't ideal. I had had some windows open, and it must have
flown in through one of them. I'm afraid that it's now an ex-wasp.

I thought you may have misread a manual thermometer by 5
degrees.
Rest assured that I don't watch TOWIE. In fact I hardly watch
anything, but Frozen Planet has been v good. Attenborough was going
on about king penguins. He ought to mind his language.
