1500z WNW F3-4 2000 SN 4St005 8Sc018 +01.6/+01.1 996
RMK: After a dry slot showers rolled in again in the late morning.
Since midday there's been continuous precipitation, mostly moderate.
Initially it was rain but around 1400z it turned to sleet as the temp fell
below 3 deg and during the past 15 minutes it has been snow with the
temp falling below 2 deg. It's just starting to produce a bit of slush on
the grass and cars and on the conservatory roof. It's a very dull and
gloomy afternoon. As I type this (1510z) the temp is down to +1.4.
The max today was 5.2
