0900z: 25004KT 40km VCSH 1CU020 6SC050 (/AC120) (/CI250) 1.4/-0.6 QFF 1014.2
rising. Too much breeze for an air frost last night - although I expect Shawbury down on the plain had one. Patchy SC kept coming and going throughout the night too. 1800z: 23004KT 60km 6SC035 4.4/1.8 QFF 1013.5 steady.
A few slight rain showers during the afternoon. This morning, as well as there being snow cover on the Berwyns, there was some too on the south Shropshire hills - the snow line was much lower here, around 280 metres.
