cold westerly type - does anyone else now prefer this to blocked?
I never thought I'd say this but I think I prefer the current synoptic
set-up to blocked. A stunning walk today in bright sunshine, 4.5C and hoar frost still clinging to the grass. A stunningly bright day yesterday and a cold, wild and windy on Thursday really lifted the spirits. I've lost count of the amount of times people have said to me every weekend - "better make the most of this weather before winter sets in". I wonder if I'll still be hearing it in March? |
