It's been gustingg 60mph on Scilly for a few hours now.
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/...t_weather.html touching F9 at times. Scilly's not part of Cornwall I know, but on the mainland the latest MEAN speed at Land's End is 49mph and still tending to increase. It's just topped F8 at Culdrose. F8 is typical right on the south coast, F6-7 a short way inland. Graham Penzance |
