Not seen conditions like this for ages!

Roads are atrocious, awash with water which is blowing in the wind.
manholes have blown and I saw one accident coming back from a badminton
match in Newton Abbot. Trees are down, power is out in places, and still
it comes down, over 40mm and counting. Bit quieter now in the warm sector
(10-11C) at 2215 but the rain is lashing in torrents against the window
again. Offical forecast tomorrow is for snow and high winds above 1000
feet asl, bring it on!


Just noticed. Postbridge (369m asl) have had 64 mm so far (to 2230).
