Default [OBS] Romsey - Wednesday 14th December 2011

We have largely escaped the showers today, measuring
just a trace of rain.

For the second consecutive evening, sheet lightning is
flashing in the southeastern sky and I can see a Cb not
too far away in that direction.

Quite a lot of flickering in the sky between east and south,
going on now for 2 and a half hours. One or two brighter
flashes but thunder remains out of earshot. The Cb cells
silently parading by to the south possess an eerie quality.
