Default Wind report SW Devon

Wind not so bad last night as it was on Monday evening.

Mon 12th 1900GMT 41 knots gusting 52
2000GMT 39 knots gusting 54 (62 mph)

Tues 13th 0200GMT 35 knots gusting 49

Thurs 15th 0200GMT 31 knots gusting 43
0300GMT 27 knots gusting 45
0400GMT 21 knots gusting 41
0500GMT 15 knots gusting 47

I await with bated breath the much publicised storm for tonight.
Chap on BBC TV forecast said there was an uncertainty in its track of
+/-60 miles.
No mention of hurricane force winds.

Chap on BBC TV forecast at 10.30 said the winds were 90 mph in
Brittany this evening.
Actually they have been 90 kph which is about 56 mph.
Got this from Meteo France so must be correct.

They have to hype it up somehow I suppose.
Now they are clinging to the snow scenario.
Such excitement!
