RMK: Snow showers died out by about 1030z and the cloud
soon dispered. A gorgeous sunny and brilliantly white afternoon
very much as had been forecast. Very little thaw today due
to the clear sky. 4cm lying snow. Bus routes have only a little
slush on them but most other roads are a real mess of rutted
slush that has now frozen hard. Max temp 1.8
