Report 19:30
A window shutter blew down! Pretty heavy, so glad no one was under it.
Probably the first damage since the New Year Hurricane of 0101-92.
A hanging tarpaulin was torn to shreads.
Probably many damages in this district, but don't have so much information
yet.
Power is out in some municipalities - I'm not in the worst place.
Actually the winds have subsided a bit, but may pick up at the end of the
low.
TV is still 99% away.
Glad I took down my satellite dish earlier today, but wonder how many did..?

Report 21:20
The power was away from 20:30 to about 21:00, still gone i the south
part of town
Was a bit lucky to get some broken sentences and images from NRK TV
news at 21h. The police was reporting from this area as the main story.
They seem to have a lot to do. But as the transmissons is so broken - now
they are
again completly gone - I really got no substantial info - except what I get
looking
out the window... The world has almost completely broken down from our
point of view here now. There are a few FM-stations transmitting on the
battery radio -
but alas they are only transmitting music!! Why did they tear down the
AM-radio
at 630kHz that was transmitting the local news - don't say I didn't warn
about that!
So much for modern society!!
The wind picked up about 1 hour ago again, so some very strong gusts
sometimes.
The pressure is rising.
The power might disapper again anytime, I would think...

Would be interested to know broadly in Norway how this one compared to the
"Nyttårsdag" storm of 1992.
