Default cold ?

Just returned from my shopping expedition and it felt absolutely
b...freezing out there.
The current temp here in suburban Essex is 8.4c,but the dewpoint is just
2,8c,hence the chill factor,in fact though there have been many days this
winter above 7c very few have felt it .
Can't say I've kept an eye on dewpoints generally but does anybody keep
records of these things and have they been particularly low this season ?

Tropical! 1.4C here and falling under clearish skies. Expect we will
get a frost tonight. Wind chill only down to -5C as there isn't very
much wind, for a change. Was pretty wild last night, even for us.

Very dry in the wind Ron. Today has been a "blowing the cobwebs away"
day with some decent sunshine. You need layers on such a day to be
comfortable though, walking the dog was a 2 fleece, coat and a hat
experience!
