Weather observation - Sunderland, Tyne & Wear
OS X (Eastings) 440951 OS Y (Northings) 554026 Lat (WGS84) N54:52:46 (54.879323) Long (WGS84) W1:21:48 (-1.363282) ================================================== == First thing this morning the ground was covered by ice from the sleety rain which was falling yesterday evening. I'm surprised we didn't get snow because it was cold enough. The wet sleety/rainy stuff froze on the ground and cars and for a while put my wind speed and wind direction equipment out of action. After sunrise the temperature climbed steadily and by early afternoon the ice had gone and we were having a bit of a heatwave at 7C... it felt quite pleasant in the sunshine. Not a bad day at all and as the sun begins to go down, it's still 6.8C. Regards... David Allan. ================================================== == Current data for 05 February 2012 15:58 Temperature (°C): Current 6.8 Trend (per hour) -0.1 Average today 3.4 Wind chill 5.3 Heat Index 6.8 Dew Point 2.5 Rel Humidity 74% Wind (mph): Current Gust 10.7 N Average Speed 4.8 WSW Rainfall (mm): Current rate 0.0 Last hour 0.0 Total today 0.9 Total yesterday 0.3 Total this month 1.2 Total this year 22 Pressure (mb): Current 1022.3 Trend (per hour) +0.1 |
