Out come the acolytes, he was spouting selfish nonsense, idiots spout
nonsense.

The master is an idiot, so must be the mindless followers.

Hope one day you all meet real problems, then you may gain an inkling
that your hero is actually a self centred idiot.

Anyone know if Wills got over this disappointment yet? I seem to remember it was the beginning of the end of his posts on here

Blimey Jim

You've been trawling the midnight oil there.

Its one of my favourite ever posts, Lawrence. I think it epitomises just how irrational us weather geeks can be. Millions dying around the world of hunger, civil war, natural disasters etc and we worry about a patch of snow melting out the back

Its sadly another occasion of melting snow Will. Looks like some of the HISTORIC falls from earlier in the month are going to be WIPED out. What a month though eh?

Are you still peddling the line that it's been a remarkable month? It's
been a perfectly ordinary one. Sure, certain areas such as the Peak
District and the higher parts of Dartmoor have had substantial
snowfalls, but that's not unusual in those parts in February and the
amounts have been well short of record-breaking. (As I'm sure Norman and
Will will be happy to inform you.)
