You don't suppose there is some cyclical happenstance in the behaviour of this stuff. Someone mentioned '47 and '63 and '87. A bit ropey but not if it is related to astrometry. I vaguely remember something about a 15 year cycle discussed here several years ago. It would explain a damned sight more than that hockey stick does. If it turns out to be cyclical I'd love to hear David Attenborough explaining how Polar Bears evolved. Is it my download speed or does the narrator sound Like Steven Hawking's wheel chair, downhill, in top? |
