Just as February in Spain began with abnormally low temperatures, it is ending
with unusually high temperatures for the time of year.
Madrid's max of 22C is about 10 degs above 'normal', and compares with the 4C
max recorded just a few weeks ago.
Interesting to note that the min of 2.2C is still below its normal 4C,
contributing to the high diurnal ranges being seen over the last few days.
