After a rather nice day (max 13.3, sunny intervals), it looked as if we were
heading for a cold night - with skies clearing shortly before sunset.
However, extensive low cloud has rolled in (I assume down the Cheshire gap
from Liverpool Bay, as the surface wind is NNE'ly) and it is now misty with
light drizzle. If this hangs around it certainly won't be a cold night!
