Hi everyone,
I thought I'd share a very interesting satellite image from the northern Aegean area taken yesterday: All the way from Çanakkale in SW European Turkey to Chalkidiki, Thessaloniki, the Pagasitikos Gulf and all the way south to the Evia island, advection fog is covering most of the sea and small parts above land, carefully leaving the mainland almost uncovered. Thasos, Samothraki, Gökçeada, and a number of other islands are seen standing out in a sea of fog, while others are covered to a greater extent. http://www.meteovolos.gr/AERONET_The...terra.500m.jpg All the best, Yannis |
