Default [WR] Haytor 25/4/12 (monsoon)

The wet drought has turned into a monsoon!

Spells of heavy rain all day. Very dark at times. Pressure at 1730 is 975
hPa.
24 hour rain to 1730 is 38.9mm bringing the monthly total up to 154.9mm with
lots more to come!
Monthly average is 92mm.

No impacts locally, it has just been wet with all the water running away
downhill into Bovey Tracey in one direction and Liverton in the other.
Garden is saturated on top and thoroughly wet all the way down to the
subsoil. No environmental drought now in Haytor LOL.

I'm kinda enjoying this action now :-)

=============================================

We've had 35mm in 24hrs to 1800 here in West Somerset, lanes full of
standing water & mini rivers - an exceptional amount on this side of the
Quantocks (Stogursey)
