Hi, All,
The persistent NE'lies have certainly taken their toll on the sunshine figures in our area, normal south westerlies leave us sheltered and sunny. Currently just 87.7hr(57%) compared with 229.7hr last April. I began recording sunshine in 1999 and only April 2004 with 92.9hr has been anywhere near as dull. Cloudy and misty again today, month's rainfall 156.8mm(245%) Mean max 8.6C lowest in April since 1989. Current 10:00Z Wind NE 8KT(Bft 3) vis 3 miles, overcast, mist, temp 7C dew 7C, 1017mb Looking in vain for south-westerlies! Ken Copley http://www.kencook.magix.net/ |
