After a bright and sunny start to the day, cloud gradually increased from the west after midday and the first drops of rain landed at 3.30pm. All things considered however, it hasn't been a bad Bank Holiday weekend, staying mainly dry and sunny all the way through until it clouded over this afternoon. The forecast seemed to have the Bank Holiday as a wash-out for this corner of the UK, but looking at the rainfall radar, there only appears to be light rain and not much of it at that.
