Default Haytor - first 20C of the year!

22/5/12
Wot a scorcher.
Max +21.2C in sunny skies all day.

Not unusual to have a lateish first 20C, been in April before but also in
late May, it varies.
Wonder if we will make 25C sometime this year, only got to +24.8C last year,
I have a feeling we will have a very hot spell here this summer (25C).

Sensationalism aside, it is about time we had a hot summer, we haven't
had one since 2006.

August 2006 wasn't much cop here.

Things did recover in September though, and summer seemed to last
through until mid-October.

August wasn't much cop here either.

I would say that June and July, culminating with the 36C recorded at
Charlwood, more than compensated though.
