Here is a summary of the latest NWP output for noon (GMT) on Sunday. Issued
0342z, 30/05/12. The new week will see a ridge giving way to a col, with slow-moving showers likely. The middle of the week is likely to see pressure fall to the west, with southerlies spreading across the UK. ECMWF: http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Recm1201.gif A ridge covers the UK, resulting in light northerlies and easterlies. There are southerlies on day 6 as pressure falls to the west, followed by stronger southerlies and SSE'lies on day 7. Days 8 to 10 show low pressure filling to the NW, with southerlies and SSW'lies over the UK as a result.
