My weather reports have been infrequent this last week (unlike the rain) due to being on holiday. Along with any other folk 'enjoying' the half-term week, the weather has put paid to the intended plans of what we were originally intending to do. Yesterday, I was looking at a photograph I took way back in March and recalled how it felt as though a long and wonderful summer lay ahead! How wrong could I have been?
A pretty dreadful week as far as holiday weather is concerned and no no good at all for our tourist industry. Coldplay were playing to around 55,000 rain-sodden fans at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on Thursday and thankfully was given rave reviews despite the attrocious conditions.
Fingers crossed the UK weather picks up some time soon and certainly by August (that's when we're heading down to Cornwall!).
