Travelled from Sunderland down to Preston in Lancashire and back yesterday, so didn't get a chance to post any weather report. It has to have been one of the wettest drives I have ever made, encountering as we did, one downpour after another. In fact, many of the showers just merged almost seamlessly, so you could say it rained almost non-stop.
