Bit puzzled about the forecast for Friday to Sunday, in particular
Saturday, which from the charts looks a decent day in the south due to a ridge of high pressure. To quote from the Met Office: "Some bright spells but generally rather cloudy with showers or longer outbreaks of rain, heavy at times. Feeling cool in strong and blustery winds." I'd have thought Friday would be showers at first, drier in the afternoon/evening as pressure rises, Saturday largely sunny and Sunday some showers but not too many. I also notice a very low UV rating for Saturday for London of only 2, lower than tomorrow which on the face of it looks a much worse day from the charts. Is Saturday really going to be as poor as the forecast suggests? I simply cannot see from the charts why it wouldn't be a bright and dry day - much better than last Saturday. Am hoping it will be nice as I'm aiming to get out... Thanks, Nick |
