Default Today's model interpretation (22/06/12)

Here is a summary of the latest NWP output for noon (GMT) on Tuesday. Issued

The middle of the week will see light winds and a col or weak trough over
the UK. Showers or longer spells of rain are likely, but there will also be
sunny spells between the rain.

WNW'lies and WSW'lies. A weak ridge brings further WNW'lies on day 9,
followed by WSW'lies on day 10.

The MetO run shows a col on days 5 and 6.

A trough covers Scotland and Northern Ireland, bringing SW'lies elsewhere.
There's a col on day 6, followed by southerlies on day 7 from a low to the
WNW. Day 8 sees WSW'lies as the low deepens north of Scotland and on day 9
there are light winds due to a col. Day 10 sees a slack low over the UK with
further light winds.
