rising. SYNOP: 41480 82407 10128 20109 40008 53008 76062 8457/ 90700 333 81712 84630 88358= Yesterday afternoon's heavy rain continued until just after 1700z, when skies became much lighter. The sun even appeared momentarily around 1800z. The cloud rolled back in a couple of hours later, and there was rain on and off throughout the rest of the night - mainly light, but with some moderate burst around midnight and 0500z. Medium cloud layers are back, and the lower cloud - although convective - isn't deep enough to produce the recent precipitation - therefore back to intermittent rain again!
