Default WR S. Coventry - notable day darkness and torrential downpour

The darkness turned on the street lamps, the rain was accompanied by pea-sized hail (marrowfat, not petit pois) and notable gusty winds. I'd estimate well over an inch in about 10 minutes and 50 kn gusts. The building guttering was unable to cope.

Notable mammatus afterward, I was looking for rotation but didn't see any. No thunder.

Someone reported 4cm diameter hail locally.
